CHRIS B. KELLAR, P. ENG.

Senior Consultant & Engineer

Since joining Jade Acoustics in January 2002, Chris has become well versed in all aspects of noise and vibration control.  He is regularly involved in all types of acoustical design work and land-use planning exercises.  Chris has experience with all the services provided by Jade Acoustics Inc., as his expertise in acoustical consulting is extensive. Through years of experience and a dedication to staying relevant with leading market acoustical criteria and best design practices, Chris offers invaluable information and knowledge to all clients needing assistance with noise and vibration control matters.  Chris has extensive experience with environmental noise studies, ECAs, acoustic audits, major industrial and residential developments, architectural design best practices (including up to date knowledge of the Ontario Building Code), ASHRAE acoustic criteria and the direct involvement with addressing client questions to address any noise and vibration matters.

DALILA C. GIUSTI, P. ENG.

Senior Consultant & Engineer

Dalila co-founded Jade Acoustics Inc. after gaining experience in the field of acoustics prior to establishing the company.  Her expertise in the field is well known in the industry and she is often involved with major projects at the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) acting as an expert witness in noise and vibration control. Dalila has worked with government agencies, land developers, business groups and law firms to assist in various capacities with the understanding of noise and vibration control criteria, the correct implementation of such criteria and navigating the often complex world of land-use planning.  Dalila routinely works with major organizations in the specific service of providing peer reviews, offering technical and land-use planning information that is critical to the respective project. Dalila's extensive work experience extends to projects/developments across Canada and she also sits on the executive of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Acoustical Association (CAA).

DAVOR SIKIC, P. ENG.

Senior Consultant & Engineer

Davor gained acoustical experience in his native country and then brought that valuable knowledge to Jade Acoustics Inc. when joining the company in 1994. Since then, he has taken a wide range of noise control and vibration courses which have increased his knowledge base further.  Davor has worked on various complex land-use planning projects across Canada, providing guidance to major industries and/or land developers in order to ensure noise and vibration control measures are in place to meet or exceed applicable industry criteria.  Davor has extensive knowledge with current engineering software used in the industry and utilizes his technical skills in combination with the software knowledge to provide the optimal solution to each project.

AARON KEEY, P. ENG.

Senior Consultant & Engineer

Aaron joined the team at Jade Acoustics Inc. in 2007 and has since gained considerable experience in land-use planning, architectural building design, sound and vibration measurements and expertise with state-of-the-art software programs such as CadnaA.  Aaron has authored countless technical noise and vibration reports for land developers for projects across southern Ontario.  His knowledge and background includes residential, commercial and industrial development.  Aaron has worked on major high-rise projects through all phases of the development process, taking them from draft plan, site plan, building permit, construction and to final completion with acoustical clearance provided.  Aaron is regularly involved as a project manager for various major projects at Jade Acoustics Inc. and offers support and guidance to juniour staff as needed.  He also routinely completes peer review work for municipalities and other major organizations.

MICHAEL (MIKE) BECHBACHE, P. ENG.

Intermediate Consultant & Engineer

Mike joined the team at Jade Acoustics in 2015 and has had a crucial role in preparing environmental noise and vibration reports for a diverse field of clients.  His expertise also extends to architectural building design and noise and vibration control for mechanical equipment. Mike has completed on-site measurements related to acoustic audits, NC testing and reverberation time measurements as well as other "proof of performance" measurements. He is well versed in using state-of-the-art software programs to assess noise and vibration problems and to find solutions.  Mike has an excellent understanding of the land-use approval process and the compatibility concerns between noise sources and the noise sensitive receptors that those noise sources may impact.

JAMES WANG, P. ENG.

Intermediate Consultant & Engineer

James took advantage of his University internship program to gain knowledge in the field of acoustics.  He then joined the team at Jade Acoustics in 2018 and has since expanded his knowledge base considerably. James has worked on numerous high-rise building projects, assessing the building design prior to construction, during construction and evaluating the final project at the completion stage. Through this experience, James often works with clients, mechanical engineers and contractors and as well as architects to ensure the best practice acoustical designs are implemented and that applicable criteria is being achieved. He also routinely prepares environmental noise and vibration reports for residential, commercial and industrial clients. Through on-site building inspections, related sound measurement work and Impact Isolation Class (IIC) testing, James acquired a skill set that blends real world experience along with knowledge of the on-paper design.
